How the dinner goes

Initially, as I approach the window near to seed-feed time in the early afternoon, this is the sort of show the pigeons are putting on for me.
They all queue up waiting along the dunny roof - or on next doors windowsills, if she hasn’t shooed them off! When they spot me pass the window, they get quite excited as they know they will probably be fed shortly - unless I disappoint them by just doing the washing up or fetching myself refreshments from the fridge!
They will fly onto the kitchen windowsill to hurry me along, fly towards the window and hover for a while to remind me, or simply fly directly to the seed-tray and wait hopefully. Finally, once fed, they like to lounge about the 'restaurant' gardens, lazing about, satisfied…
