Well, most of my three week writing break was spent hanging out the bedroom/back yard, or working on my next novel. One of the major pieces of news is that we have new babies in the yard - there are a baby kookaburra and a baby cuckoo-shrike hanging out.
I will therefore start off with a few shots of the parent kookaburra who came down to pinch some of the ham rind I chopped and scattered for my pigeons!
Much more news to follow about the pigeons - a whole three weeks of it! You can expect some photos of my surprisingly finding a bunch of them on a local walk shortly.
