More pictures of the young heron

Yesterday, my son spotted the heron foraging for bugs in the nasturtiums and ornamental grasses near the dunny - and used it to practice his digital camera movie mode.

It also had a ride on the hills hoist!!

I think it is mother and son, lol - I thought it was the same one, til I double checked the photos. There seems to be more white on one's face - I guess we have TWO herons enjoying our yard!
