MISSING PIGEONS - lost and found

I had better luck getting shots of the myna bird. He was munching a scrap that next door had thrown on our carport roof - a usual event when there are seagulls or magpies around and she has scraps.

I managed to get several shots, as eating takes a long time and is quite distracting, giving me time to focus and set the lighting and other camera oddities. This last shot is two I stuck together - the last one kinda looks like the lil fellow is dancing!!

It is so wonderful to see someone do a post in honour of the mynah bird. I have a pet one who shares my brekkie every morning.

There doesnt seem to be a set lifespan for common mynahs, but for all species it seems to be 12-25 years. We'll see how old my little girl gets!
