Next I would like to share some pictures of the goldfinches that have nested in a tree two doors down and spent much of their time visiting our yard for food and water.

The first shows the bird itself and the second his usual watering hole being enjoyed. These birds were with us for a couple of months, before and during hatching their young. I have a photo of a baby goldfinch to share with you when I next post.
