After the pied currawong had finished its bread, it stood resting on the carport and stared about…
It then spotted another piece of my bread and swooped down, picked it up, and returned to the comparative safety of the carport roof.
By now, it had become quite used to the fact that I was virtually immobile and uninterested in its food source, so felt able to turn its back on me… and rather rudely show its backside while munching bread.
I managed to get one final photo before the sun blinded me and the currawong flew away, calling out and boasing about its full-bellied victory!
