Smokey and I had a nose to beak on the windowsill - precious moments! Smokey and I also poked our tongues out at each other and licked our lips/beaks. It is interesting how curious some of the brighter minded pigeons are with humanity.
However, many of the pigeons are getting nervous when flying in to feed at our place. Our next door neighbor is having an anti-pigeon phase again, and constantly banging an empty tub on her wall to frighten them away. This not only startles the feeding and contentedly resting birds, but me! It is not very easy to read a book, study a Buddhism class, or meditate, snooze, relax, or veg to music, with a loud rattling suddenly issuing out without warning.
It is causing the pigeons to become very nervous. They are being disturbed when they try to eat their meal. if they were human, they would have sever indigestion I am certain. I have been trying to get close to my pigeon friends, but they are being scared continuously by our neighboring human. Hopefully, she will calm down and stop her activities shortly , and the pigeons and I can get some peace once more.
