UNSURE…

I am not quite sure about this little fellow. When I first spotted it up in the privet tree, I assumed it was a parrot, but was uncertain as to the variety.
Then, I was wondering - perhaps it was a baby rainbow lorikeet? But they generally have blue heads, not red - so it must have been a parrot of some sort.
Whatever it was, it soon flew to the Hills Hoist, ignored the seeds I threw down - which were hastily devoured by a few of our pigeon flock who had been hanging about the yard, and flew off after staying for a further five minutes on the washing hoist!
