WHITE-FACED HERON

I have so many new heron pics to share, I thought I would stick some of them together! I came out of the study to wash up my coffee mug and spotted the white-faced heron striding across the lawn towards the house. It spotted me and strode away in the other direction, but strayed to munch bugs in the long grass on the side, so I was quick enough to get a selection of shots before it wandered off out of sight into the overgrown pumpkin patch that used to be my vegetable patch until I planted pumpkin in it!
