Yard Bird Update 62
September 4th 2011 15:25
Today, I have a few more pictures to share of a baby blue-tit. Once again, it decided to hop about in the tree outside my bedroom window, allowing me ample opportunity to shoot some shots.
These birds have been active in the tree for several weeks, on and off, across the local breeding season. Just like with the wood pigeons, sparrows, starlings, and doves - blue-tits seem to use the tree as a nursery to park their young whilst finding food for them - then the young use it as an experience of hunting their own food.
This one even turned away as if to say goodbye - allowing me a final shot before leaving....
