Yard Bird Update 68 and a contest

Today, I am starting to share my photographs from July & August. The latter month did not result in many photographs, and therefore I put the two together. I got a couple of decent dove photos - and a disaster.

Firstly, I took a snap of one of my new friends - a young dove - preening. (Munch, munc,h munch!!) If only it was as simple for us humans to make ourselves look good, eh? Just bite and pull amnd we are all done!


Secondly, the neat and fluffy fledgling posed for a photograph.....

....but only one! It then decided to hide!
